Thermal transfer labels

Thermal transfer labels, in contrast to thermal labels, require additional consumables for printing - a thermal transfer ribbon. The ribbon is a wrap with a special dye on one side. Heating the thermal head of the printer activates this dye layer and transfers it to the material being printed. The main advantage of the thermal transfer label over the thermal label is that it can be made not only of paper but also of other various materials, such as polypropylene, polyester, textile, etc. Besides, it is possible to print in color when using colored dyeing tape, but only in one color.
